These berries fill our backyard and no matter how many times I cut them down, they grow back. I wouldn’t mind a few of these in a smoothie, but they tend to make it onto my youngest’s newly-purchased-don’t-get-stained-or-I’m-going-to-kill-you shirt instead.

Campfire in our backyard

We had the strangest storm the other day. It lasted for about 7 minutes, but it caused a great deal of tree damage around town. This was only half of the twigs and branches that we gathered up from our backyard. Looks like we’ll be roasting alot of marshmallows this summer.
