The Taste of Disney

I’m still missing my trip to Disney World trip.

(lower lip sticking out)

I can’t wait until we go back next year-I already have bought some items for our next trip. We already have our trip mapped out already too.

BIG HELP.

Now, we won’t waste anytime looking for rides and bypassing areas we don’t want to go too.

One thing that I didn’t get to try was their famous Dole Whips. I remember the lines were super long, so that might of been why we forgot. My sister says they are awesome, so since the internet knows everything, I decided to see if they had a recipe for them.

THEY DO!!!

So, even though I don’t what they taste like, I still wanted to try a copy-cat recipe. After all, those people know what they taste like, so I trust them.

Disney's Dole Whip

I found a variety of recipes, so I made the one that sounded true to the original. It was super easy to make and the taste brought me back to Florida. Very fresh and fruity.

Disney Dole Whip Recipe

Make some for yourself-it will make you want to visit Disney!

Disney’s Dole Whip Recipe
Serves: 5 servings
Ingredients
  • 2 cups of crushed pineapple-save juice.
  • 1/4 cup whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp sugar of choice
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth. Freeze for 1 hour then scoop out with an ice cream scoop. If your blender isn’t blending enough, add some of pineapple juice. For soft-serve that holds its shape longer, freeze the swirled dole whip at least 20 minutes prior to serving.
