Christmas season brings out my need for festive looking candy and homemade cookies. The kids don’t understand why they have to wait before eating my “decorations” until at least next week. I am very proud of Emily’s choices of barbies for her birthday presents. She did not discriminate against race or color when she picked out a Caucasian, African-American and a Hispanic doll. Nor did she discriminate when she proceeded to take the clothes off of all of them about three seconds after she opened them.
