Like I mentioned yesterday, I’ve been reviewing A LOT of chocolate products lately. I hope I didn’t gain a pound this last couple of weeks. I guess I would have to say that it was worth it, because they were all so good!
This week’s review was from Fairytale Brownies. I contacted them and asked if they could pretty please let me try out their gourmet brownies. They emailed me back and asked if I would like to try their cookies and bars as well.
Did they even have to ask???
It was like Christmas when my box of chocolate heaven arrived.

As soon as I opened the box, Emily came running out of her room. Sure, when I ask for help with the dishes, nobody hears me…
There are six Brownies in flavors: Original, Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, Walnut and Toffee Crunch. Six Cookies in flavors: Double Chocolate, Caramel Pecan, Coconut Walnut and Toffee Chocolate Chip. Four Fairytale Bar Flavors: Raspberry White Chocolate, Pecan Blondie, Cheesecake Swirl, and Chocolate Chip Blondie.
I didn’t know which to try first, but Emily thought we should taste the gourmet bars. She twisted my arm. Each brownie and cookie comes in it’s own package. You can choose to eat it cold, or heat it up in the microwave. We ate them right out of the package. She tried the Raspberry White Chocolate, and I tried the Cheesecake Swirl. Very moist for being shipped across the country! I admit, I was a bit worried the bars would be dry. They tasted like they were made that day!
After downing those, we looked at each other and both nodded our heads and each grabbed a cookie. The brownies were super rich and not dried out at all. I tried the Peanut Butter (of course), and Emily tried the Double Chocolate. I was pleasantly surprised again with the moist and freshly baked taste of these cookies.
We waited until later to try the sprites because these fill you up fast. I just couldn’t fit anymore in my tummy. So after dinner, we tried the mint chocolate brownie and the original brownie. Oh, and I dropped off a couple at my mom’s house. She sent a text later asking if the brownies were calorie free because she ate both.
“But of course!” I texted back.
Hey, it makes us feel better, ok?
The brownies that contained nuts or chocolate chips were my favorite, because Fairytale Brownies does not skimp on the nuts or chocolate chips. They use huge chunks!
